Snow Day for HDR Web Designs
Today was a snow day for HDR web designs! I am working on a new website that needed some fresh photos of Mt Baker and the ski area, so I decided to go snowboarding for the day and take the photos myself. The life of a real estate agent/webmaster can get pretty demanding, so the break was well appreciated. I really lucked out on the weather conditions too. There was 7″ of powder waiting for me on the mountain when I arrive. It was indeed a nice day to make some turns. Here is a VERY short video from my day.

Jealous. I’m flat out jealous. It’s about 78 degrees here and I miss winter! You have me thinking – I need to do a post on the brain improvement benefits of fresh mountain air.
its really seams a unique idea of website design.Your video looks nice.
I’m jealous of you being up in mountains. Hard to see you actually working in the mountains but hey someone has to do it.
Good and creative way of designing the websites. Your video rocks.
@Erin ~ I love the winters too. Snowboarding is one of my passions and I wish that I were able to do it more often.
@Mateo ~ It is great to hear from you! While you might be jealous of me, I am actually jealous of you. How is Costa Rica?
Your video is great! Nice job! The idea for web design is also very interesting
I found your blog on google and read a few of your other posts. I just added you to my Google News Reader. Keep up the good work. Look forward to reading more from you in the future.
How exciting! The last time I saw snow was when I went to Wing Mountain in Flagstaff. It’s a 2 hour drive, but worth it considering we would never see snow otherwise in the Phoenix area.
I wish I could get up to such larks on the job – just stuck indoors all day.
Wow! I would like to have such a “Work Day”
Some perks of having such a fun job! Nice video.
In Minnesota we get a ton of snow, but the hills are not the best around here for skiing or boarding. I would love to have a “snow day” and get some work done at the same time
Our snow days are gone but they will be back before you know it. Time now to enjoy the warm air.
Gives a new meaning to the term “snow day”, kudos, that’s how to live life! Gotta play as hard as you work!
I would love to do the same as you. Great movie.
Snow days are the best, right? Who doesn’t need a day off?
I wish I were able to pop out boarding for the day – instead I am building a site for a toilet paper company!! Not exactly glamorous…
Wow, interesting! Instead of looking for pictures online, take time out and take pictures of snow as well as enjoy the weather. Yeah lives are tough and if you get a break, value it and learn how to make the most of it. For many a break is just a break and doesn’t seem to revitalize them for tasks ahead.
Yeah… work day on a board and “7″ of powder waiting on the mountain”.. that’s what I dream about now… Greets!
Love your site. Very nice design. Snow days will be here again before you know it!

You have me dreamin of the slopes…
…now, where are my skis
Would have been glad to see more of your action in the video
but looks likes you had a great day.
I just wish there was a ski resort near my office too…
I love Mt. Baker and that is awesome that you are posting your pictures!
Pretty awesome stuff, I love it hah
Hmmm….. Now that is what I call working! Cool video, man. I’m a broker in central Cal, and after seeing your video I’m wondering… WHY? You’ve challenged me to get a bit more creative with my sites too. Good Job.
I cant wait for the snow to fall this year so I can hit the slopes. Unfortunately the riding in Chicago is not great compared to some of the other place out west.
What an awesome way to get in some time outside. I am indeed envious
I think you have motivated me to try to find a client that has a beach related web site. “Honest, I know I have been at the beach for the past week, but I am working, really!”
Keep up the good work AND PLAY!
I covet for multiple reasons. 1-You got to snowboard for work, while I have to sit at a computer 8 hours a day. 2-you went to Mt. Baker! I used to live in Bellingham and Baker is the best! Is your company based out of Bellingham?
yeap, we had here snow like never before this years. personaly, I run out of ideas when is snowing, though I like skiing.
